The JDSU ANT-5 (originally developed by Acterna) is a handheld SDH, SONET, and PDH transmission analyzer designed for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of optical and electrical network interfaces. Its compact form factor, touch-screen display, and battery operation make it a versatile tool for field-testing high-rate communication networks up to 2.5 Gbps (STM-16/OC-48).
