1. Information we collect
SpecAtlasHub collects only the information necessary to provide our specification database service. This may include usage analytics (page views, search queries) collected in aggregate and anonymised form, and the details you voluntarily provide through our forms: the contact form, equipment requests (“Looking for this instrument?”) and the seller early-access sign-up.
2. How we use your information
We use collected data solely to improve the quality and relevance of the SpecAtlasHub database, respond to enquiries, and ensure technical performance of the site. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Equipment requests and seller sign-ups
When you tell us you are looking for an instrument, we store your email address, optional name, the equipment you asked about and the details you entered (condition, quantity, timing, notes). We use it to reply about your request and, in aggregate, to understand which equipment is in demand. We will not pass your contact details to a seller without asking you first. Seller sign-ups (company, contact details and the answers in the form) are used only to contact you about selling on SpecAtlasHub.
4. Cookies
SpecAtlasHub uses only strictly necessary cookies required for session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Data retention
Anonymised analytics data is retained for 12 months. Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your query. Equipment requests and seller sign-ups are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up when a matching source or feature becomes available; ask us to delete yours at any time.
6. Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@specatlashub.com.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of SpecAtlasHub after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
