The Keysight Agilent HP 11793A microwave downconverter extends the frequency range of the HP 8902A measuring receiver. For RF signals above 1.3 GHz, it downconverts the input using an internal double-balanced mixer and an external local oscillator. For signals below 1.3 GHz, it automatically routes them directly to the input of the 8902A. An optional amplifier (Option 001) is available to boost LO signals in the 18 to 26.5 GHz range.
