Fluke PM 6300 Series LCR/RCL Meters

The Fluke PM 6300 Series instruments share a high level of precision for testing passive components, offering a basic measurement accuracy of 0.1% and 5-digit measurement resolution. Both models support external DC bias capability up to 40 V, facilitating testing under real-world operating voltages. They are engineered as stable benchtop units suitable for calibration laboratories and production quality testing.

While sharing core accuracy, the two models differ in frequency versatility, test signal customization, and automation options:

• Test Frequency: The Fluke PM 6304/00n operates from 50 Hz to 100 kHz with 204 selectable frequencies. The Fluke PM 6306/02n spans 50 Hz to 1 MHz, providing 3-digit frequency resolution with over 8,000 steps and a frequency accuracy of %0.01%.
• Test Signals and Bias: The Fluke PM 6304/00n has fixed AC test signal levels (50 mV, 1 V, 2 V RMS) and an internal DC bias of 2.0 V. The Fluke PM 6306/02n allows continuously adjustable AC test signals from 50 mV to 2 V RMS (10 mV resolution) and internal DC bias voltages from 0 to 10 V in 10 mV steps.
• Interfaces and Usability: The Fluke PM 6304/00n features 9 front panel save/recall memory setups. The Fluke PM 6306/02n comes equipped with a standard GPIB (IEEE-488) interface for automated systems and features a backlit LCD showing dual 5-digit parameter readouts alongside a 3-digit frequency/level display.

The Fluke PM 6306/02n is capable of measuring primary parameters including L, C, R, and Z, and secondary parameters such as D, Q, Phase Angle (Θ), Rs, Rp, Cp, Cs, Lp, and Ls. It supports automatic parameter selection and allows users to choose between series and parallel equivalent circuit modes in either automatic or manual selection modes. The meter has a fixed output impedance of 100 Ω.
